Well a year has flown by, Lily is one and to celebrate this week she has walked her first few steps across the lounge on her own.
She had a lovely birthday party, thanks so much to all the family for your kind cards, gifts and for coming along to her party. Lily wanted me to say an extra big thank you to Auntie Helen for her amazing cake. I knew Helen would make a fantastic cake but I never imagined anything so spectacular. Lily got to cut her cake and we played pass the parcel (which was very poorly planned by mum with no sweets in between wrappers or forfeits, but that's one of the disadvantages of being the first child - Mum's practise!) We sang a few actions songs - Hokey Dokey, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes and Lily enjoyed time playing with all the family. We bought Lily a slide for her birthday and she loved playing with that on her birthday with Jorja Russell and at her party with Rachel's niece Holly and Alisha Brown. Thanks to all the family for making the trip and taking the time to be at Lily's party, we loved having you here.

It's amazing to think how fast this last year has gone, she's grown and developed so much, and I'm sure the next year will be even more fun as she finds her feet!
