He's due in at 13:00 and is in as a day patient so should hopefully be home the same day. And knowing how tough Daddy is he will be home very soon.
Although the operation is very important, it's fairly routure and simple and we dont expect any problems (fingers crossed).
In the run up to the operation dad has been taking the advice of his consultant surgeon and sleeping in each morning and having everyone wait on him hand and foot (although mum doesn't remember hearing the surgeon give this advice).
Other than that, Dad has been taking it very well and hasn't been milking it at all. Errrrrrr welllllllll ;-)
