Bank Holiday weekend at end of May we went camping for the weekend with Tim and Laura in Lake District. On the Saturday we took a speed boat on Lake Ullswater. This is Lily doing her thumbs up before we left.
Lily loved wearing a life jacket I think she's read about Topsy and Tim wearing life jackets - so they're cool.
We all took a turn to drive...even Lily!
But then it was all just too tiring! She was out...
Our tent...we put up in a nice large space looking over the lake. Then people started to arrive and put theirs litter ally a metre from our tent, we couldn't believe it we went completely surrounded...we know next time to find a spot where people cant surround you!
It got really windy Sunday and threatened rain so we decided to pack up a night early and have a BBQ down by a river. The wind was pretty bad though so we had to shelter behind the car!
Dad and Lily had a good time together walking up the river over all the rocks. It was a memerable and fun weekend though, we enjoyed our first camping experience even though it was freezing at night!
