During March - April we spent 5 or so Saturdays with the Watts, Timons, Wilkinsons and my Mum and Dad building the polytunnel...through the snow, wind and rain it wasa real project but despite the cold long hours I think we all enjoyed the manual labour and have now been rewarded with a huge polytunnel full of growing vegetables!
We are amazed how things are growing - carrots, cucumber, lettuce, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes, grapes, strawberries, rasberries, blueberries, spinach, swede, brocolli, sweetcorn, cauliflower, peas, beans...at the moment everything is very green lots of green leaves but the first courgettes and cucumbers are starting to form.
